They watch tv with us, they get samples of our food even though I Mommy (Joy), yell at Daddy (David) not to, and they sleep in the bed with us.

They have a doggy door so they can go when they need to, or when a squirrel stops by, or they suddenly just need to race. Our large back yard has a 6 foot vinyl privacy fence with a 1 foot cement footpath underneath the entire thing to prevent digging underneath.

Notice we tend to choose phantom studs. No Kovu and Rocky are not even remotely related. Phantom studs tend to throw phantoms, black tuxedos, red tuxedos, blacks, reds, chocolates, apricots, creams and even whites. If you want evidence of that look at Rocky and Kovu's puppies on the puppy page.

Our Brood Bitches and Dams

A “dog” is an intact male who is not currently being used for breeding
A “stud” or “stud dog” is a male who is being used for breeding or “standing at stud”
A “gelding” is a castrated male. This term is correct but seldom used anymore. You can use it, but you might get some odd looks
A “sire” is the father of a litter
A “bitch” is a female who is not currently nursing a litter, is too young to breed, or is retired from breeding
A “brood bitch” is a female in her prime and being used for breeding
A “dam” is a mother dog who is lactating.
A “puppy” is a baby dog less than a year old

Borderline Small Mini/ Large Toys

Peggy and Bitsy are borderline Toy/Mini poodle. Toy is under 11 inches from floor to shoulder, mini is over 11. They are just slightly over 11. When bred with a toy like our Rocky they produce great larger toys that are better with young kids than the tiny poodles, yet still small enough to be lap dogs. They have been bred for the best quality of health as family pets. They have the calmest most loving nature you can find.

Peggy Sue is the lover. As soon as you, or anybody else in the whole wide world, approaches she flops down, rolls over and waits to be petted. She also can smell you thinking about cooking food. I promise I can say "I think I'll pull some chicken out for the day" and turn to her staring deep into my eyes licking her lips, lol.

Peggy has such a loving heart she comes up to you and puts her paws on your shoulders and gives you hugs and if you pause when you start petting her she takes her little paws and rubs her from her eyes down her snout and it's like a it's a universal signal that she wants more and it's easy to recognize and she'll do it every time you stop and then if you sleep with her she'll snuggle right up to you all night and she's just an awesome dog and we can't help do anything but love her.

Bitsy Baby is a loner. She is the gentlest auntie to the pups, She is the last to come get her treat, the last to come when called, comes out to be petted when no others are around. she's quiet in her corner, if you look closely, generally sucking on the side of a dog bed with all her might, and if any dog disrupts her she shows her teeth and gums in the scariest snarl ever. never bites but its enough to scare a superhero. NEVER get between Bitsy and her dog bed sucking.

Our Small Toy Brood Bitches

These two girls are litter sisters, but they used to fight like dogs and well, dogs when we got them. We have trained it out of them but they still act fierce toward other dogs until whatever obstacle protecting them disappears, lol. We only had Bitsy, Peggy. Foxy and Roxy until September. Now we are currently at 10 dogs and done. We have 2 blondes,2gingers,2brunetts, 2 raven haired, and 2 boys.

Foxy is a little grinchling. She does not like to share. whether its food, toys, her specific spot on Daddy's lap, her special spot on the bed , or any dog bed she climbs into. She growls at any dog or person that comes too close to her special treat or her designated spot . But at the end of the day she will sit in your lap and let you pet her and is as kind as can be once she knows you and feels she can trust you.

She has long graceful legs and runs and jumps off the porch like a little Bambi. And it is just as difficult to win her trust.She will so sweetly give your hand a tongue bath if you are kind enough to her to earn that honor. She has a bit of an underbite and if you tell her to smile she actually pulls her lips back and shows you her teeth. It is adorable.

Roxy is the star of the show. Her Brilliant Red Hue, Petite stature, and cautious walk grab everyone's attention.She has the saddest eyes ever as she walks around in a circle and looks up at everybody like please pick me up please pick me up. It is so sad and you have to pick her up she is definitely the beauty with her little pompoms. And then at the gates she jumps three times her height, she could jump over the gate between rooms but she doesn't she jumps extra high because she wants to see you and welcome you home

Unless you bring a strange Dog. Then she will race up to the gate mashing her snout through the bars with her lips curled back showing her gums in forcing fear into all as she growls and snaps her teeth fearfully. Until you open that gate then she backs up and runs behind something and then walks very carefully and quietly out to the dog and oh so cautiously makes friends. That is all. Lol.

Our Studs

Our Studs are the backbone of our operation. We choose to have no more than two studs at a time, preferably one, in the household. This allows us to let all of our dogs run free and uncaged and unhindered. We don't have to worry about the parentage or any incest as our males in our house are not related to our females. We do offer services of some males that are guardian or simply working through us. They may be related to our females, but they do not live with us they live with friends and relatives nearby.

Because we don't have many males we must choose them carefully.

Puff the Magic Dragon is just the best. When you call him he pounces at you one way, then the other, then rakes his back feet like he's revving his engine before he finally comes to you. I don't know where he got that from or how he decided to do that but it is cute as heck. A little bratty but everybody loves him so much. He loves people and runs up to them and wants to welcome them each to the house very excitedly. He really is the best.

Puff was chosen as our stud carefully for color, size, health, disposition, background, conformity, pedigree and, intelligence. He fit the bill perfectly. Look into his little amber eyes and you've got to fall in love. He is currently between his straighter baby fur and curly adult fur, where we can't do anything with it, so we decided to have fun with a mohawk until it grows out.

Rocky was chosen as a startup male because he has beautiful phantom markings, and phantoms throw a variety of colors even within a single litter. They also tend tothrow bigger litters. He is Embark tested 100% purebred toy poodle. Genetically clear. He Produced his first 3 litters January 2024. He was almost 6 months old when we got him and is quite afraid of people but he has come a long way. From shaking when I picked him up, to wanting me to rock him to sleep. From running from the dogs to chasing the dogs and taking toys from them. His "thief" mask fits him so well, because as soon as you set something down he takes it and runs he doesn't care what it is. Besides that he has stolen my heart. He bred with Bitsy, Roxanne, and Foxy. Check out the pups for sale on the puppy page. As you can see he produces nice litters of various colors. He has so far only mated when left alone with the female and other dogs of his own pack. So his stud service fee is very low to an experienced female, similar sized, with a nice flow. I do not guarantee a studding. I am afraid he may be shy. I would prefer someone that would be willing to leave the female here for a couple days. We can accommodate any sleeping arrangements, including sleeping in our bed as our dogs do, or in a crate, or on a bed on the floor. Call me if your interested.

When i see the white at the bottom of his eyelids like this I know he is through with me. I get this look after bath time when he refuses to take treats for being a wet dog, or after grooming when he refuses his good pretty treats, or just plain stands stiff on his leash and refuses to walk any more lol I love this picture because the angle makes his body look ridiculously tiny to be so stubborn.

Our Son's Phantom
Stud Kovu

Kovu is a phantom border line mini-toy and is the brother and litter mate to our girls Peggy and Bitsy. He belongs to our son and lives at his house a couple miles away with his wife and 3 kids. He comes to visit often to play and be groomed. Sometimes to meet a girlfriend here. As long as none of our girls are in heat! He is a great stud for medium/small mixes. See his litter of ten on the puppies page. Girls must be over 11 lbs. He unfortunately is not an AI stud. For a larger stud if there is reaching problems Kovu has a look alike litter mate brother that somehow came out at least 18-20 lbs (as soon as I find out exact I will post). Not overweight just very tall. Same genes, the entire rest of the litter, includes Bitsy and Peggy, came out at 12 lbs. Both parents of the litter were definitely under 14 pounds I know I owned the mother. I can refer you to him For smaller girls or puppies consider Rocky above. I'm sorry but if your female is under 8 lbs We are sorry but Puff is not yet old enough to mate. He could be ready anywhere between April and June. We do not yet have a stud appropriately sized without risking the safety of her life.
